Coping with stress

When our son, Michael, was about three, he tell me of his time to the babysitter's. "The 'stretched' out, Mom," he said. My mind someone to be viewed as dismembered Taffy salt water, with Michael doing the shot at one end, and then the other!

Stress is a bit 'like that, our patience is stretched to breaking point! We tend to manage stress by diverting our energy to worrying, to be angry, and / or engage in some activities entirely unrelated (to avoid called!). Very rarely we turn directly to the Lord, seek His guidance and consider its options.

So, here is our opportunity today and every day. When we feel the onset of stress, a slight pressure, even the smallest twinge, you should refer to the Word of God and allow Jesus to take over: Joshua 01:09 "Be strong and courageous, do not be fear, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. " We need this store. Tell our heads. Speaks loudly to ward off Satan. And watch for the results! They will be there. They are tangible signs of our stress and reduce the power dissipation of the Lord.

When God is with us, even when you go down the path of stress and anxiety, things will change. Just wait and see! Instead of being weak and fear, instead of being discouraged and confused, God our hearts firmly on His Word. God will take that stress and disbursement for nothing! He commanded to leave our hearts and minds, and we will be free of our stress and anxiety until next time! We must try and see what happens. We will be surprised by the difference God makes, and we love God more!
